B-corp certification
B-Corp Certification shows that a company meets top-notch standards in performance, accountability, and transparency. This includes how they treat employees, their charitable efforts, how they manage their supply chain, and where they get their materials from.
Responsibly sourced
Products that have been produced in a way that takes into consideration social, environmental, and ethical factors. Sourcing and production process has been conducted in a way that minimizes negative impacts and has positive effects on various stakeholders, including workers, local communities, and the environment.
Biodynamic practices
Biodynamic farming or gardening is an approach to agriculture and horticulture that goes beyond organic farming and incorporates a holistic and ecological perspective. It was developed in the early 20th century by Austrian philosopher and educator Rudolf Steiner aiming to create a self-sustaining and harmonious farm or garden ecosystem that considers the interconnectedness of soil, plants, animals, and cosmic influences.
Locally made
"Locally made" refers to products that are 100 % manufactured or produced within Mauritius.
Vegan
Products that do not contain any animal-derived ingredients or components and have not been tested on animals. It aligns with the principles of veganism, which aims to avoid the use of animals for food, clothing, cosmetics, and other purposes, while also striving to minimize harm to animals and promote ethical and environmental considerations.
Gluten Free
A gluten-free product is one that does not contain gluten, a protein found in wheat, barley, rye, and their derivatives.
Eco-friendly packaging
Eco-friendly packaging, also known as sustainable or green packaging, refers to the use of materials and design practices that minimize environmental impact and promote sustainability throughout the packaging lifecycle. The goal of eco-friendly packaging is to reduce waste, conserve resources, and lower the carbon footprint associated with packaging production, distribution, and disposal.

A palm oil-free product is one that does not contain palm oil or any of its derivatives.
